Farm to Table Committee Roles
The West Michigan Farm to Table committee is recruiting members! Below are the roles that we are looking to fill. When you sign up you have the option to select which role you are interest in.
To join the committee all individuals must complete the following:
- Serve as an Ambassador for NMDP's mission through social media, ticket sales and more
- Commit to securing 1 sponsor before the deadline OR recruiting 5 ticket sales for the event
- Attending monthly F2T meetings and event
- Bi-monthly meeting are helpd June - August
Committee Positions
Chairman - Responsible for ensuring the committee are aware of and fulfills their responsibilities, holds committee accountable and represents NMDP with integrity. This position will preside at all meetings, among other responsibilities
Volunteer Coordinator - Responsible for the recruitment and communication with day of event volunteers. This role is critical to the success of the event.
Social Media Manager - Manage social media and promotion of event.
Auction Procurement - Responsible for securing both live auction and raffle items to be used at the dinner
Meal Procurement - Responsible for securing the farm fresh food and beverages for the dinner
Guest Experience - Responsible for securing the needed items to provide each guest attending the dinner with a high quality event experience
Media/Public Relations - Responsible for running and developing all social media account and working with NMDP staff on the event website
Corporate Relationship/Sponsorship - Responsible for securing a specified amount of sponsor dollars and recruiting new sponsors each year
